If you’ve asked me something, and I haven’t replied, this could be due to several factors:
- I’ve read it, but I’m lazy and can’t be bothered to reply. Which is unlikely, but sometimes I do do that… but I’d reply you eventually, give or take up to a week or so.
- I’ve read it, but I don’t know what to reply with so I just leave the ask sitting in my inbox to cultivate fungal growth. This ask is likely to be there for a couple of years before I clean out my ask box and decide an appropriate answer.
- I haven’t read it because I haven’t had time/I haven’t been on.
- I have’t read it. Period. Because somehow, your message got lost somewhere.
I always answer questions if they’re urgent - like an invitation, a direct question, something that requires an advice… or if it’s just a random question that I can answer easily. On the other hand, making conversation really isn’t as easy; and I actually prefer talking on Skype to people because Tumblr messaging is too inconvenient. Give me your email. Or address, so I can write you a letter. Anything. Just make sure it doesn’t have a character limit to it, and that I can set out my replies in paragraphs to show my thought flow. Yes, I’m pedantic, yes I sound like such a pretentious bitch, but I really loathe the fact that I’m restricted on the way I express myself.
